The weekend is upon us! I thought I’d close out the week with a simple (but almost flawlessly executed) ensemble from Badgley Mischka. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ Onto the review:

The Outfit:

A belted white sheath with an asymmetrical — yet balanced — hemline and strappy metallic sandals.

Designer/Season:

The Resort 2016 collection by Badgley Mischka (Look #12)

When to Wear It:

A dress like that is a great addition to any late spring/summer wardrobe. This is definitely a look for the daytime — the fabric and hemline are a little too casual for any other time of the day, in my view.

Why It Works:

This dress is extremely versatile — it can easily be dressed up (or down) by changing out the accessories. Also, even though the hemline is uneven, the overall impression one is left with os one of balance.

What Doesn’t:

The shoes are something of a miss for me here. I would have chosen a more structured pump (while the heel is a little steep for me, I am partial to these clear pumps by Steve Madden).

My Daily Runway Score: ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ (this look is fine — no big issues to note. I would likely add a patterned scarf to complete the look, or perhaps add a more sizeable wrap to tie everything together. Still, we’re all good with this outfit.)
